Lucy Phillips has spent over 16 years working in the not for profit and corporate sectors. With a background in marketing and development, she currently works on a consultancy basis with Board Members and Senior Staff from the charity sector to support them in reaching their organisational goals. Lucy works with both UK and overseas organisations, focusing on strategic planning, partnership development and project management.
Previous experience includes building long term relationships between International Blue Chip companies and UK charities, delivering consultancy on the design and implementation of capital campaigns, researching and developing fundraising strategies, business planning and marketing campaigns. She combines pragmatism and a creative approach to deliver a high quality service.
She has worked with a number of UK and international charities including Abbeyfield, DEBRA and Home-Start UK and has gained extensive experience of the corporate sector, working on behalf of not for profit clients with the Vodafone UK Foundation and Vodafone Group Foundation, Tesco, Reckitt Benckiser, Mothercare, NEXT, Sainsbury, BT, Woolworths and Nationwide Foundation.
Lucy's consultancy clients range from local voluntary groups to international NGOs and include Home-Start International, Home Start Southwark and Leonard Cheshire. She has also worked with independent charities in Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Ireland, Kenya, Lithuania, South Africa, Sudan and Uganda.
Lucy has written training packages in development and fundraising and has provided individual mentoring and guidance for staff and volunteers. She is a member of the Institute of Fundraising and holds its certificate of Fundraising Management. She also holds qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
